...Welcome to our website, which has been created by the pupils and teachers of Coomhola National School, Cooryleary, Bantry, County Cork. We are situated by the beautiful Borlin Valley, between the town of Bantry and Glengarriff. Coomhola National School is a four teacher school that caters for both girls and boys. Adjacent to St Joseph's Church and Coomhola Playgroup, Coomhola National School is an integral and vibrant part of the Coomhola/Borlin community.

School opens : 09.10 Morning break : 11.10 to 11.30 Lunch break : 12.30 to 13.00 School closes : 15.00 The school opens at 9.10 a.m. No responsibility is accepted for pupils arriving before that time. Class assembly is at 9.20 a.m. and no pupil should arrive later than this time. Formal class teaching commences at 9.30 a.m. Classes end each day at 2.00 p.m. for Infant classes and at 3.00 p.m. for all other classes. Parents who wish to have their children escorted home should make arrangements to have them met at the school gate at school closing time as the school can not accept responsibility for looking after pupils after this time.
